How To Partition Hard Drive Without Formatting

1) Open run and type diskmgmt.msc 

2) Now for Shrinking process you have to right click  on drive that you want to partition and click on Shrink.

3) Now Carefully enter the amount of space in MB which you want to shrink.

4) After shrinking now there is time to create new volume from the shrinked space ( unallocated/free space ). For this the free avialable space will appears in bottom panel now click on it and then click on New Simple Volume.

5) Now a window will opens where you have to assign any Alphabet which you want to appear on your drive and then click on continue. Now your new drive/volume is created without any lose of data.Enjoy !!
